Unlicenced Access

GB3EK has been shut down once again due to unlicensed users.

Users must hold a valid Amatuer Radio licence to legally access the GB3EK repeater. Unlicenced access is an offence under Wireless Telegraphy Act (2006) and will cause the repeater to be shut down to the detriment of other licenced users.

If any unlicensed individuals would like more information about obtaining an Amatuer Radio licence then please visit the RSGB website at https://rsgb.org/main/get-started-in-amateur-radio

If local to Thanet then please come and see us at a Hilderstone Radio Society meeting where we can provide free training and (fee payable) Amatuer Radio exams. More information can be found at https://www.g0hrs.org
